I am doing research on communication but am having a very hard time
finding the articles I need. I need five scholarly articles form a
scholarly journal on the effects of communication between parents and
teens/adolescents, they don't all have to have the same views but they
do have to be about the same topic.
If you could find five scholarly articles for me I would greatly appreciate it.

Hello rob428-ga,

Do you need only the citations or do you have to be able to read the
entire article online? Do you have any particular subject as the topic
or interest area for the parent/teen communication you're
investigating? Thanks.

It may also be helpful if you post the references you have already
found, so that researchers don't duplicate your effort and have a
better idea what type of articles you are seeking.

I haven't been able to find any references, at least not scholarly
ones, online so any will do.
I do have to be able to read the entire article.
Basically in the assignment we are looking for articles that discuss
how parent-child communication (or a lack of) affects or influences
the way teens act and behave.
As long as it relates to that I can work with it, different viewpoints
in each article are totally fine.

Note: An abstract of an entire article will also do as long as it can
provide a good idea of what the article is about. Full articles would
be preferred though.
Thanks

Hello rob428-ga,

I thought you might have an easier time with writing your research
paper if you cut down the topic of parent-teen communication a little
bit. Consequently, I collected some papers and resources for you on
parent-teen communications about sex. I?ve posted links to five
complete articles and to additional resources for hundreds of
citations. You can usually gain access to these papers/articles
through your academic institutions library. If not, you can buy most
of them for a fee.

As purplecloud-ga suggested in the comment below, searching Google
Scholar is a good way to identify scholarly resources.

Best wishes for you research.

Morning Rob428!
You can easily find scholarly articles on line by using another
Google service called "Google Scholar". To access this service, go to
the main Google browser page and click on "more" (located at the top
right hand corner of the search box). This will bring up a page of
other Google services. Google Scholar should be the fifth service in
the right hand column (search scholarly papers). The service itself is
free and you can read abstracts of most papers and books for free. You
might have to pay to read the entire papers or books. Many of them,
though, are free.
