What are the highest rated curriculums available to someone living in
WA State (Seattle area) with emphasis on curriculum that offers a lot
of on-line support. Since we have a high-speed connection at home, I
am particularly interested in curriculum that is rich in using the
internet as a teaching tool.

I am particularly interested in getting feedback with contact
names/phone numbers or email addresses/websites. Please don't send me
to the local library to do research. The whole idea is to be able to
get this accomplished online.

This might be of interest to you:

"The Curriculum-Fair-In-A-Box is your private preview of new
curriculums. It is designed to help you find the right program and
style for you and your child.

Instead of just seeing them at a fair, we’ve arranged special
copyright permission from the major curriculum companies to actually
GIVE YOU samples of their curriculum. They include Sonlight, Weaver,
Alpha-Omega, Oak Meadow, LIFEPAC, Horizons, KONOS and more. So each
kit contains ready-to-teach samples from all the major curriculum
programs and teaching styles. All laid out step-by-step."

In case you decide not to do home schooling at some point or just want
contact with a related learning community where kids pursue what
interests them, you might want to check out the Clearwater School,
Seattle's Sudbury School. The website is www.clearwaterschool.com and
they have links to sites that may interest you. My son will be going
there, so I thought I'd mention it.

Good luck.
