I would like to schedule a windows 2000 machine to logon (as me) at a
certain time. I am the administrator of these machines on a windows
2003 domain.

Thanks to rainbow-ga, no sadly the program you suggested only works if
the machine is already logged on as someone. I need for the machine
(which are often left on the login screen) to log itself in as me.

You could try creating a remote desktop connection.  If you want to
schedule the logon save the connection and use a scheduler to run the
saved conncection.
