is there anyway of getting data what people search for on froogle and
do not get results, I.E. top search items with no returns! same goes
for websites like ebay and amazon, is there anyway?

You might contact ComScore. They have a network of millions of online
consumers whose shopping behavior they watch remotely. They may have
that data.
