Where is a plaque in New York City that cites Freida Kahlo? My vague recollection is that I saw a dark, oval plaque with Freida Kahlo's name on it and that it was somewhere in Manhattan south of 34th Street. Where is it? |

Her first name is spelled Frieda, also Frida, but that did not help me find the plaque. She and Diego Rivera lived in NYC in the thirties, and I expect that the plaque is on the place where they lived but had no luck finding it. |

Thanks for trying. I already looked at about five addresses where she lived or stayed. |

Hi, if you have found those, I expect that you are way beyond me. Have you tried contacting historical or art societies or museums? Here are links to museums, including Museo del Barrio for Latino Art. http://www.ny.com/museums/all.museums.html Good luck, Myoarin |
