Where is a plaque in New York City that cites Freida Kahlo?  My vague
recollection is that I saw a dark, oval plaque with Freida Kahlo's
name on it and that it was somewhere in Manhattan south of 34th
Street.  Where is it?

Her first name is spelled Frieda, also Frida, but that did not help me
find the plaque.  She and Diego Rivera lived in NYC in the thirties,
and I expect that the plaque is on the place where they lived but had
no luck finding it.

Thanks for trying.  I already looked at about five addresses where she
lived or stayed.

Have you tried contacting historical or art societies or museums?
