As a female guest -- what do I wear to a wedding at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church at 3 o'clock in the middle of November? A reception at The St. Regis Hotel follows the ceremony. The bridesmaids are wearing their favorite black dress. Help! |

You might want to look at this previous answer: http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=576083 If the wedding is going to be a day into evening event you might consider wearing an outfit that can transition, e.g. a velvet dress with a simple wrap or dressy cardigan for day and then remove the wrap or sweater for evening. The same thing can be done with a suit whether using a suit composed of a dress and a jacket or a simply putting a dressier shirt underneath the jacket of a regular suit. |
