Question ID: 57837
Where would I find a store or importer to purchase a bottle of Italian
wine called Blu di Blu [peach tasting wine that has blue coloring?
E-mail address, phone number, fax number and address would be
appreciated. I had found a web site that listed the wine but did not
give me where I could go to find the wine. The web site is
ramiko.ic.cz/sortiment.htm. The site listed distributors but no other
information to get in contact. I also found the Contri Spumanti site
www.contrispumanti.it site but was under construction. The wine I
found was in the Tuscany area of Italy near Florence. The only other
information on the bottle was Cazzano-I-Italia and Contri on the
wrapping around the cork. I would appreciate help in finding where I
could purchase the wine.

The research I have done so far gives me the strong impression that
Blu di Blu is only available currently in the Czech Republic and
Slovakia. All of the current references to Blu di Blu seem to be on
web sites for those countries. But conceivably Contri Spumanti sells
it elsewhere, perhaps under a different name.

Would you be satisfied with an answer that simply provided addresses
and telephone numbers for the Czech and Slovak distributors, and for
Contri Spumanti in Italy?

Hi there,

I'm in agreement with the previous comments issued regarding Blu di
Blu -- namely that it appears only to be available in Czech and
Slovakian markets based on Google search results. It world also
tempting to believe that the product is sold under another name;
though it may be the case, my own searches for product equivalents
(peach flavored wine, blue wine, etc) failed. This indicates to me
that Blu di Blu is likely currently an export product for the Czech
and Slovakian markets exclusively.

This being the case, I believe your best option is to purchase Blu di
Blu from a wine retailer/importer in the Czech Republic or Slokavia
and have it sent to you. I have located the following businesse for
you:

Please note they do have an English language version available:

Slovak distributors and for Contri Spumanti in Italy.

Thanks
Much appreciated.

Hi mason25,

Re: your Request for Answer Clarification, August 26, 08:42 PDT:

Since rockabillylibrarian has posted an answer, I am not the
appropriate person to provide a clarification, even though I had
proposed an answer with the information you seek. I assume that
rockabillylibrarian will be able to provide this clarification, since
rockabillylibrarian already did a good job in finding the contact
information for two Czech wine businesses.
