What brand of sunglasses did Tom Cruise wear in the movie Collateral?

The sunglasses worn by Tom Cruise in "Collateral" were custom-made by
Silhouette. The temples are "Titan Minimal Art," combined with
"Minimal X" lenses from the Sihouette 4048 line.

"Tom Cruise wants to be just like the astronauts. No, he?s not the new
poster boy for Tang. Cruise has fallen hard for the Silhouette eyewear
styles made for the NASA astronauts and is now the proud owner of his
own customized pair.

Back in October, Silhouette caught the superstar?s curiosity after he
heard about the light weight, screw less and hinge less frames it
makes for the astronauts. So the actor?s office contacted Silhouette
about a personal fitting for his upcoming film 'Collateral.' (Cruise
plays a contract killer who takes a cab driver hostage to make his
rounds from hit to hit.)

During the fitting Cruise expressed a desire for a custom piece made
by combining Silhouette?s Titan Minimal Art Collection with Minimal X
lenses. Cruise got his wish fulfilled when multiple pairs were crafted
at the Silhouette labs expressly for the Oscar winning actor."

20/20 Online: Custom Cruise

"Although he does play a baddie in 'Collateral', Tom Cruise wows
audiences once more with his acting prowess and outstanding
flexibility as a performer. In addition to sporting grey hair and an
elegant designer suit, Tom?s look for his new role is complemented by
cool sunshades by Silhouette, which endow him with a special,
mysterious-dangerous appeal. At the beginning of the shoot, when Tom
first heard about the absolute lightness of the hingeless and
screwless Titan Minimal Art eyewear, he knew at once that he had found
the perfect accessory for his part.

After personally trying the frames on at Silhouette?s premises, the
U.S. superstar asked for a customised model designed according to his
specifications and was handed a combination of the beta titanium
temples of the Titan Minimal Art line and the Minimal X lenses of
Model 4048. The trendy wraparound design and square lenses imbue his
role with a mysterious-dangerous touch, while the dark lenses
effectively hide his eyes from view.

Fascinated by their ergonomic design and surprisingly low weight, Tom
Cruise often wears these sunshades in his private life as well."

Interesting quote from 20/20 Online...

"Cruise got his wish fulfilled when multiple pairs were crafted at the
Silhouette labs expressly for the Oscar winning actor."

...I wonder which movie they think he won for??? Although *nominated*
three times, Tom Cruise has never won an Academy Award.
