I am looking for a website that can proofread my essay, give suggestions, etc.

I recall this article on Wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Improve_this_article_about_Wikipedia
It was about a magazine writer who submitted an article to Wikipedia
to get it fact checked, spell checked, etc.

Could something similar to this be done? Maybe on Wikipedia, Wikipedia
Meta, Everything2, etc.?

I want to do this for some personal essays. I'm guessing that if I did
it for school essays, it would be considered plagiarism?

Thanks!

Although I would recommend Google Answers first, you may not want it
posted publicly, especially because it's before your final draft, and
it's permanent.

How about services that charge fees? I found a couple that are very
reasonable. $20 or less per essay. Would that be acceptable?

If you're willing to post the essay in public, there are several
Google Answers Researchers who are excellent proofreaders.

Thanks, that sounds like a good idea. Any responses to my original
question are still welcomed as well, though!

I am not sure if this is what you are looking for but, if the essays
are your own work and people give you feedback on the essays it is not
plagerism. Is this the answer you are looking for?

I don't think that there is actually anywhere on Wikipedia where you
can put essays to be proofread.

I think most custom writing websites do this but it is called a revision.
They do not mention it in their services but if you contact them and
ask for a revision of your own essay I think they' do this and it'd
cost much cheaper than buying a custom essay. You can try
www.cuteessay.com
Once I've ordered a custom essay on another site but I didn't like it
and they were not able to provide a good revision. Then I tried
cuteessay.com and it was ok.
