Get your paperwork together to show that you are the legal owner of the vehicle. Find out where she works or places she frequents. Go to a tow company and tell them the situation and prove you are the owner of the car. When you locate the car where it can be towed call them to tow the car away. She'll probably call the police but the tow company will have a letter from you authorizing them to tow the vehicle. Be sure the cars registration is solely in your name (or have all the owners authorize the towing of the vehicle.). |

Do as daniel suggested, get all your ownership papers together, and hire a repo company to get it for you. It should be reasonable because they don't have to hunt it down, just take it in the middle of the night. They don't need keys, and they notify the police they are about to take a car. If you have extra keys, you can go get it yourself, or send someone to drive it off for you. You might be able to get extra keys by calling the dealer with the make/model and vin number. Or, we can find where to get keys for you in a new question. |
