I have filed a case with the American Arbitration Association. An
arbitrator has been assigned and we have conducted a pre-hearing call.
No discovery or hearing has taken place yet, and tentative dates have
been set for these activities. The statute of limitations has not yet
expired for my case, which is governed under the laws of New York.

The tentative timeline that has been set for the remainder of this
case will not allow enough time to properly prepare my case and
recruit a lawyer before the hearing. Is it possible to temporarily
withdrawal my case provided I re-file before the statute of
limitations expires? Please provide details of the
withdrawal/re-filing process, including potential ramifications, and
whether a new arbitrator could be chosen upon refile.

Why not call the arbitration association and ask them?
