Trying to find a lady that had a gourmet cookie company in
Pennsylvania, and all I can remember is her first name is Betsy. Her
old employer went out of business so this is all I can recall, as we
were her customers while she was thre.

Do you remember the city where this cookie company was located? Any
other details might help.

It is supposed to be located in Philadephia, PA. She worked for Four
Seasons Hotels, best I can remember. She might even be considered a
pastry chef. I was told that it should not be too hard to find her and
the business as she was that good and not too many women excelled to
this level.

The business is a new business and should be in Philadelphia, PA where
she worked before and with Four Seasons Hotels before this other place
went out of business. Betsy is somewhat a uncommon name, and I cannot
believe that she moved out of that area. She has the skills of a
pastry chef as well and her creations are unrivaled. Hopefully this
helps.

The only pastry chef named Betsy I could find is Betsy LaSorella in Cinncinnati:

"Chef Betsy LaSorella first decided to focus on pastry while at the
Maisonette: ?I got a taste of it? and then I was hooked!? A graduate
of Northern Kentucky State Vocational Technical College, Culinary
Arts, Betsy donned the Pastry Chef hat at The Celestial and the
Maisonette. When she spoke with Owners David and Liz Cook about a
position at DaVeed?s, they recognized her as a confectioner?s jewel,
and she has been their Head Pastry Chef since August, 2004. From Panna
Cotta and Crème Brûlée, through all manner of chocolate~cakes,
gateaus, soups, and candies, to ice creams and sorbet, she tempts the
palate with her pursuit of flavor."

Could she be the one you are looking for?

This is not the right Betsy, I had someone call me today and say that
they heard she was indeed in business in PA, they think Philiadelphia.
The woman described by Rainbow is too old as Becky is 27-30 years old
if that. Hopefully someone will be able to figure this one out.
