Question ID: 579439
I want to know the name, address and phone number of the company that
makes the wooden, 6 bottle wine case, with a hinged lid that Luce
Wines uses to ship Luce wine. A picture of this box can be seen at
http://www.lucewines.com/contatti/acquisti_en.asp. I am not looking
for the name and address of Luce Wines, but the name, address and
phone number of the company that makes the wooden wine case for them.
I need to hire them to make wooden wine cases for my company.

Howdy sspratt-ga,

Although I suspect that Luce Wines probably sources their cases from a
company in Mexico, there is this company that might be able to reproduce
the case. They certainly appear to be up to the task.

Labris International, LLC, also know as WoodGifts.

"Unfinished boxes are made from german pine, american cherry, walnut
and brazilian luan. A combination of these woods is possible. Unfinished
boxes can be with slide in top, hinged or lift-off top.
...
We use hot stamp engraving (pressing foil into the wood under high
temperature with magnesium hot stamping die) and laser etching (burning
wood with laser beam) to personalize boxes."

This page shows a range of their hinged products.

Wholesale pricing is outlined here.

Would the above work as an answer, or would you want a researcher to
look for other possible sources, such as a Mexico based manufacturer?

Thanks!

Hi,

I have already contacted Wood Gifts, Woodpak, Cloverwoodworking, and
about a half-dozen other box makers. Few can reproduce that box and
their closest attempt is hugely expensive on a per box basis. This is
why I have the question so specifically worded. I need to know the
EXACT company makes that box for Luce Wines. As most fine Italian
wines come in lock-joined corner boxes, I still think they might be
produced in Italy. I would be surprised if so many Italian wineries
have boxes made in Mexico and shipped to Italy and then shipped around
the world from there. I could be wrong, but I kind of doubt it.

The question remains exactly this: Who makes that wooden box for Luce
Wines that is in the picture on the web link I provided and what is
their Name, Address and Phone Number.
