I am wanting to know what a typical contract rate is for Natural Gas royalties.

All over the web with searches on Google I can see a number of 3/16ths
being bandied about, however I don't know what this 3/16ths consist
of. Is it 18.75% of the price per unit of natual gas in mcf (1000)?
Say if natural gas was selling for $5.14 per mcf, would then the
royalty be 96.3 cents per mcf sold to market?
