My name is Carmelo Serci. My wife and myself are planning a vacation
to the UK in early December. I have been based in the Far East for the
past six years, working in the fashion industry. We are planning to
watch some Premier League soccer matches as well as some live concerts
and some theatre productions.

A colleague was in London earlier this year and had all his ticket
requirements arranged by 888events
Their site is http://www.888events.com
I was wondering if there are any other respectable and professional
ticket agencies that can be recommended so we have a choice. The UK
market is unknown to us and we'd like a selection to choose from as
well as 888events.

Thank you

Carmelo

Dear Carmelo,

There are certainly several agencies that you should consider using!

TicketMaster
<http://www.ticketmaster.co.uk/> - is a well known company in the
business and probably a first address.

First Call Tickets
<http://www.firstcalltickets.com/> - another good source.

SoldOutTickets
<http://www.soldouteventtickets.com/> - Sold Out Tickets, as their
name suggests, specialise in hard-to-get tickets. I don't know how
they really fare, but they're certainly worth a shot. Please note,
that you usually buy from other buyers (third party) and prices might
be higher than usual.

TicketLine
<http://www.ticketline.co.uk/> - no sports tickets, but for
shows/events it should be good.

I hope this answers your question. Please contact me if you need any
further clarification on this answer before you rate it. My search
terms:
[tickets uk] + personal knowledge.

Have a great holiday!
