I am doing research on the effect of TV on political communication,
i.e. how people react to political news/actors through TV.  I am
trying to find out data on how the average size of a TV screen has
increased since it has been introduced.  I don't need data on
different types of TVs (CRT, Plasma, LCD), just how the size of the
screen has changed/increased since its inception.  I'm assuming that
the industry keeps this information, but I need help accessing it.  A
satisfactory answer will contain a specific agency, preferably with a
specific contact, that I can contact to get this information (or a
direct reference to the information itself, of course--will tip in
this case).  Please keep in mind that I have no industry connections,
and I need to find someone willing to speak to a University.
