I am trying to find a movie that was on TV that is in the same genre
as "Groundhog Day" with Bill Murray.  It was based around Christmas
time where a child was stuck in Christmas day and saved the day.  What
is the name of the movie and can I get it on DVD or VHS?

eventually he came to realize that the holidays weren't as bad as they
appeared."

relive Christmas Day over and over again."

Yes, this second one sounds like the right movie.  He receives a
basketball every Christmas.  You jogged my memory on that.
