Looking for a lamp similar to the one found in the apartment of the
main character in the movie "Angel Eyes" (the guy who saves Jennifer
Lopez's life....) - seems to be an oriental style hanging lamp.  Would
like info on where to buy this lamp.

If you could find a photo of this lamp on the Web, or link to a photo
of a similar lamp, that would be a big help. Not all of us have seen
"Angel Eyes," and those who have seen it may not remember the lamp

The primary problem is just that - I cannot find an example of this
lamp on the web anywhere.  I can provide somewhat of a discription,
however: Hanging oriental style lamp approx 4 ft. tall by 10 in. wide
/ 10 in. deep.  Possibly made of silk or rice paper. Appears to be a
square-style column of illuminated stacked cubes -

I am not an "official" researcher -- not have I seen the movie -- but
it sounds like you are looking for one of the styles of Akari lamps
done by Noguchi.  Some examples of it is at this URL (one of the
images seems to have your "stacked box" lantern).  Hope I am not being
intrusive here!
