Is there a dos command that will allow me see how much physical memory a windows NT and XP machines have? |

Just type "mem" in a command window.
C:\>mem
655360 bytes total conventional memory
655360 bytes available to MS-DOS
632880 largest executable program size
1048576 bytes total contiguous extended memory
0 bytes available contiguous extended memory
941056 bytes available XMS memory
MS-DOS resident in High Memory Area |

For XP: Go to Control Panel (Classic View) ---> System. Under General tab, it should list your RAM below with other Computer stats. |

also For XP: while in a command window you can also experience ultra cool by running the DXDIAG command; displays a quick profile your machine, saveable to a file. |

as the above comment says,it is better if u just type command mem in the command line and get the info needed,it is in good human readable format Thanks and Regards |
