I am going to buy sea hares (Aplysia californica) for scientific research from a company that resides in Miami, Florida. What freight expeditors are there that would be able to transport them to Helsinki, Finland? I have already asked TNT, DHL and FedEx, but none of them will transport living animals. An additional problem is that the sea hares need to be kept warm (above 20 degrees celsius) during shipment also in winter. |

Here are two sites of organizations that seem to know how to ship them: http://sbmarinebio.com/supplypage.html http://www.ncrr.nih.gov/ncrrprog/cmpdir/INVERT.asp |
