My little brother is getting bullied. What should I do? The kids that are messing with him are only a year or two oler them him, they're all in middle school and I'm in high school. All they do is pick on him and call him names, but it is really having a bad affect on him. I know Taekwondo, but I don't want to have to ruff them up unless it's a good idea. Please help me; I'm really at a loss. |

These days, most schools view bullying as a serious matter. I suggest that you talk to a school official about this. Please don't take the matter into your own hands; if you attack these kids, you might be charged with assault, and the bullies' parents could sue you for damages. |

Start here: Bullying Online http://www.bullying.co.uk/ How to deal with a bullying problem http://www.readersdigest.ca/mag/2001/10/bullyingexpert.html I found that here: http://www.readersdigest.ca/mag/2001/10/bullying.html ..." * PARENTS Contact your child's school, anonymously, and ask if there is a bullying policy. * Then, if assured your child won't be exposed to greater risk, inform them of the events that transpired, including a date, time and place. * Follow up with school authoritie. Ask what action has been taken and how your child will be kept safe if his identity has been exposed. ..." Hope this helps... Cynthia |

I came across a book that may be of interest... "How to Stop That Bully" by Steve Wharton (ISBN: 0572030754) http://www.foulsham.com/product712.htm |
