I consider myself a good amateur researcher, but have not come up with
an answer on this one in 5 years of intermittent searching.

So here goes:

Please look at the sequin hats on this page:

My question: who is the original manufacturer of these sequin hats,
and what is their contact info to order them wholesale?

I don't want just a wholesale dealer... I want the original manufacturer.  :)

A typical google search comes up with "www.theislandpalace.com" but that ain't it.

Here is all the manufacturer clue I have: 
the tag inside the hats read "JC" in brush script font.  
The tag says "made in Indonesia"

Searching on google for "jc" "sequin" "cap" and variations thereof comes up zilch.

Good darn luck... and I hope I get a real clothing industry insider of
an expert on this question, not just anyone. :)

If I cannot get the original manufacturer, I'll give up and settle for
a wholesale dealer who can get 'em for me bulk cheap, such as under 5
bucks per hat.

Second clarification, as per my comment below:  an answer to "who is
'JC' on the tag of the hat, complete with contact info, gets a 5-star
rating to this question.

A dealer who deals with "JC" who can wholesale any of JC's many hats
at a moment's notice is a 4-star answer.

Waiting for some third-party manfacturer to instead do what JC does...
 that goes into the "not quite, but thanks for trying and I can
appreciate your trying to help" category.  That's same for any
supplier that does not offer the full range of sequin hat colors JC
does, of which there are at least 2-3 dozen.

By the way, the same JC place makes sequin vests and berets.  Darn
cool sequin berets too.  :)

DUH...!  I need to fix my own comment here:

wholesale, like a lot cheaper than the typical retail 15+ dollars per
hat!  :)

The Chinese manufacturarer find below do manufacture similar hats.
All you would need is courier them a real sample hat and ask for 100s
or 1000s on it. They usually take a months time to make around 2000
hats. If ordered in 1000s they usually be less than a couple of $.

bleep is "JC" - manufacturer of these hats??  There ya go.

If kabilasi can do the work, I imagine that they would have no trouble
copying a pattern provided to them.  Having said that, it occurs to me
that copying a cap that someone else is already producing could
infringe on the latter's rights to the design.

Naaahh... not interested in ultimately finding out who "JC" is via the
experience of getting sued by 'em for infringement.  :)

But hey, If I come up with my own innovative hat design not related to
this, at least I know where to go.  :)
