95 Dodge Avenger ES (V6 Mitsubishi engine) ran out of gas, WIll not start after fueling. Is there a reset switch for fuel pump or ignition that may have triggered? Any suggestions as to how I could locate it? The fuel pump appears to be getting only a little pressure; any additional ideas what could be causing the engine not to start and methods to correct the malfunction? |

http://www.drivewire.com/dodgeparts/fuelpump.html The primary way fuel pumps fail is by running your car or truck out of gas. Since the fuel is used to lubricate the fuel pump, running the car out of gas will burn up the fuel pump very quickly. |
