After an hour or so of inactivity I find my PC has lost it's internet
connection. This is probably due to a sofware setting on the PC
because I also have a Mac Mini in use with the same Router and that
remains online. Am using a Router to which the PC is connected by
Cable and the Mac by WiFi. If I turn the PC off and then turn it on
again after a short while, I regain my PC intenet connection. I cannot
see any obvious setting in MSN Messenger or my Internet Explorer
browser on the PC that supports turning the connection of after a
period, or a period of inactivity. In Messesnger when I try to repair
the connection I get an error message to the effect that my IP address
appears to be invalid.I am using specific IP addresses on both
computers (same Gateway,
seperate unit address)
