Quicken 2004 Premier Home and Business suddenly stopped working properly. It said "could not open file." I did a little research and found that there is an issue with the archive bit of the data file that gets turned off by backup software. I have recently started using backup software. I turned the archive bits back on for the whole "my documents/quicken" directory, and now the file will open. However there is still a problem. When I download transactions, the flag graphic appears next to the accounts, but I can not see the transactions in the window where I review them and add them to the account register. I want to understand what is happening and restore Quicken to its prior level of functionalty with a minimum of fuss. |
