What color shoes/belt do I wear with blue dress pants?

In general, what shirt-pants-shoes/belt combinations match?

I'm in the USA if that matters

My complexion is medium tan, moving toward white as winter approaches

I'm hoping for something like.

(shirt) - (pants) - (shoes)
Red - black - black
White - blue pinstripe - brown

this is good stuff so far though, thanks

I think the most common (and the one that I prefer) is black shoes and
a black belt. Less common is brown shoes and brown belt. But I don't
think black shoes with a brown belt goes well at all (or vice versa).

As for shirts, sold white looks the most executive-accountant-lawyerly
like. Next most common would probably be a lighter shade of blue
(with a Navy pants). I also think white with blue pin stripes would
be nice, as well.

You might feel comfortable in a medium gray, medium weight (preferably
wool), pants with a black belt & black shoes. Match it up with a
bright white shirt and you will look very classy. If going for a bit
of casual, a sweater with grey & black in it would look very sharp.

I do like navy blue with brown belts and shoes. Navy Blue can goe
either brown or black.

My vote for best shirt is blue pin stripes. Wide stripes look better
than thin stripes in my opionion.

What is your complexion?

Gotta do a brown belt and shoes. There are good combinations at
http://www.nordstrom.com and http://www.60planet.info .

In general avoid black with any other dark color; especially cool such as blue.
