Can a senior laminate his Medicare Card?

telephoned MEDICARE CUSTOMER SERVICE and posed your question directly
to them on your behalf.

I was advised by the customer service representative that it is
permissible for cardholders to laminate their Medicare cards provided
they sign the cards before doing so.
