I was wondering how effective brasso would be in polishing eyeglass
polycarbonite lenses, to restore them.

Also would having an anti reflective coating cause any problems.

Brasso would scratch just about any plastic material, and damage or
remove any anti-reflection coating. The abrasive in Brasso is hard
enough and large enough to remove the surface layer of brass and other
'soft' metals, which is what polishing is, so plastics would be easily
scratched.
