My sister is an Australian living in Canada with her Canadian partner
and their baby son.  She is on a tourist visa which has been extended
while her application for permanent residency is being processed.  She
is now pregnant with their second child - what will it cost her to
have a baby in the Canadian health system if she is not yet a
permanent resident?
Answer  
There is no answer at this time.

Tell her to phone a hospital and ask them.

Or you can look at the Health Canada website(it may tell you if she is
covered by government health insurance
