I have a 1997 Ford Explorer 4 door and would like to find information
on how to repair a rear drivers side door that will not open from the
inside or from the outside. If the door would open one way I could
take it apart and figure it out but being closed I am at a loss for
how to proceed. I Ihave found a few things on the internet but nothing
of value to me. Thanks

This sounds like your exact problem and sounds like it is possible to
get the door panel off without having the door open:
