Reclamation, or reclaiming solid waste has grown signficantly in the EU and is starting to take hold in the United States. Examples of solid waste that is now being effectively "reclaimed" are scrap automobile tires and e-trash (old computers, printers, monitors, etc.) We are interested in understanding this busines better. Below are some questions. 1. What materials are the most likely candidates for reclamation? 2. What technologies profitably support the reclamation of these materials? 3. In addition to "disposal fees" on automobile tires, are there other materials that are soon to be charged a disposal fee? 4. Is there any state or federal legistlation that supports reclamation? 5. Are there trends in Europe that give an indication as it relates to "coming attractions" in the United States? Thank you in advance for your help! |
