I'm looking for a free and simple way to optimize a route. Either a
web site or a download that will allow me to input 5-10 street
addresses in a city and it will give me the most efficient route to
take to visit all the destinations. I know mapquest used to offer
multi-destination routing but they don't seem to offer it anymore. Any
help would be appreciated. Thank you.

 I donot know whether the free download /application is available for this.

 but we can create the application to act like the artificial intelligence.

 It's quite easy actually.

 If u need more help just explain the scenario in detail.

Thank you Frederic. I was able to manually look at a map and create my
route so I won't be needing the solution anymore as it was a one time
event. I appreciate your help and if you want to post it as an answer
