Dear whitehat88,
PC Connection carries many of the iPod models, including my personal
favorite, the iPod Nano.

You can place your order with PC Connection by phone at
1-603-683-0515, and they take all the major credit cards.
If you insist on ordering through the web, you can use Amazon. The
very latest iPod models are backordered, but you can otherwise get
your iPod fairly quickly through them. The main Amazon site ships
internationally and accepts major credit cards.

But the very first thing to try, if you haven't already, is to see
whether there's an Apple Store for your country. They accept credit
cards and you are bound to save on shipping costs.

If there's no Apple store in your country, order from Amazon or PC Connection.

Unfortunately, both sites ship to US only.
Amazon ships only books, DVDs, music amd VHS videos abroad.

If I can't come up with an international iPod source that works for
you, I'll have the editors withdraw my answer and you won't be
charged.
You're right about the Amazon limitation, which was news to me. I just
called PC Connection a moment ago, and they tell me that most
electronics, but not the iPods, are available for export.
Can you tell me what country you want the iPod shipped to?

The iPod is to be sent to South Africa. Am aware of some SAfrican
sites selling iPods but they are way too expensive.
Take your time, no hurry.

Thank you for your patience.
Do you have any objection to ordering from ZA Store? They take major
credit cards, and they offer most of the iPod models. The iPod Nano
2GB goes for R1662 or about $260, which seems comparable to the U.S.
price of $199 plus overseas shipping. Older models are in stock, and
they expect delivery of the Nano in late October.

How about Ergocube? I simulated an order for an iPod going to South
Africa, and I was able to enter my credit-card info in the shopping
cart.
