My wife and I would like to move to Switzerland in approximately 5 years.

We are in our thirties and our children will be in elementary school
at that time. We would like to find a location that is conducive to
raising children, but also is lively enough for us to enjoy.

Neither of us speaks French, but my wife speaks fluent German and I am
currently learning conversational German. (I would be most comfortable
in a place where speaking English is acceptable.)

We would like to buy a house (we understand this is difficult) and
possibly start a business.

My question is in 3 parts:

1.	What locations in Switzerland may be best suited for family life
with a little excitement and a lot of economic potential?

2.	What is the housing market and how difficult is it to buy a house
(for an American citizen specifically)?

3.	How receptive (or helpful) is the Swiss government (and people) to
Americans living (and conducting business) in Switzerland and what is
the process?
