Hello futurethink-ga,

You've posted six related questions that seem to be questions from an
organizational development course. I'm familiar with the domain but I
don't know how to approach your questions because I don't have a
context and your questions make assumptions that may not be true. The
jargon you're using is also open to interpretation.

Please give us some background information about your project or
assignment so that we can get on the same wavelength with you and find
you the information you need.

I look forward to your clarification.

"examples and metaphors" is an "unusual" pairing in this context.
Do the companies have to do both: "zoom in" and "zoom out"? That
could be contradictory - would be, if the company tried to focus on
the "in" and simultaneously tried to expand - the "out".
It all seems like a bantering about of "buzz-words".
