What are specific examples and metaphors of companies/organizations and individuals who have been able to ?Zoom Out? (getting broad perspective) and ?Zoom In? (going narrow and deep) to identify (and capture) profitable business opportunities? What were those profitable opportunities? Google has been able to ?Zoom Out? and ?Zoom In? to launch new products at a rapid rate. | |

"examples and metaphors" is an "unusual" pairing in this context. Do the companies have to do both: "zoom in" and "zoom out"? That could be contradictory - would be, if the company tried to focus on the "in" and simultaneously tried to expand - the "out". It all seems like a bantering about of "buzz-words". |
