I am looking for sources to acquire decommissioned aircraft as close
to the UK as possible but happy to ship from aborad if required. The
planes are to be used for display. I am interested in all types but
the larger the better!

I found a service that decommissions aircrafts in the UK. Would you
like to contact them and ask if you can get a hold of their planes?
They do not say however if they are selling them?

I found some companies in the United States. I cannot confirm though
if they will deliver to the UK.

Would a list of these companies be ok?

I actually saw a decommissoined F-18C Hornet on E-bay once...but that
doesn't happen very often...

You'll find that most countries have export regulations on
demilitarized air craft, though US -- UK might be acceptable. Good
luck in your search.
