After reading the history of the three largest bells in the world, questions have begun to spring up in my mind. But my biggest question is this: would it be physically possible to cast a bell that is around 50ft (it doesn't have to actually be that specific number, just keep in mind the bell would be bigger than the largest bell in the world, which I believe is about 22 feet) in diameter (at the mouth of the bell) that could actually function (i.e. ring)? If it is physically possible to cast a bell that big, about how loud would it be? |
