We're looking for a place to go mountaineering in the first half of
December and so in order to make a decision about the location we seek
information on the snow, snowfall, and sun/weather conditions in the
past few years (3 to 5 years) in mountain areas not too far from
Europe such as Alborz or Zagros ranges (Iran), Toubkal (Morocco),
Alps (France), or Sierra Nevada (Spain). Specifically I'd
like the following weekly or monthly measures: snowfall, snow
accumulation or depth, and temperature for each of these ranges at altitude
above 2,000 meters (one average per range or one or several points,
whichever is available).

As you may have guessed we're looking for reasonably high altitude but
if possible also for appreciable sunshine (this is the bit that is
difficult to get in December: usually much better in the spring),
without having to travel too far from Europe.

The question refers to weather information, the purpose is given as background.
