isletakeachance-ga,

The Google advanced search page has long had a feature which I believe
is quite similar to the Alexa "Related Links" feature. You can see it
here:

by using the box for: "Find pages similar to the page"

or you can search directly in the Google search box by using the
'related' command. For example, a search on [ related:alexa.com ]
shows the following results:

and turns up Google, AltaVista, Yahoo, etc.

All this is built into the Google toolbar, and that might be the best
substitute for the Alexa toolbar.

You can download the Google toolbar here:

http://toolbar.google.com/

Take a look, and let me know if that meets your needs.

If it does, I'll be glad to post this information as an answer. But
if it doesn't, please let me know what else you need.

Look forward to hearing back from you.

isletakeachance-ga,

I'm glad that the information I provided meets your needs.

The Google Toolbar is quite clean, and customizable. I have used it
since its inception on numerous computers. I am quite fond of it, and
have no cause for complaints. But...as the commenter below has
noted...perhaps I'm not the most unbiased observer in these matters.

However, the Google Toolbar also uninstalls very cleanly, should you
decide that it's not the product for you.

Let me know if there's anything else you need on this. Just post a
Request for Clarification if I can help you further, and I'm at your
service.

Cheers,

pafalafa-ga

search strategy -- None. Answer is based on my own knowledge of Alexa
and Google Toolbar.

I don't think this is the best place to look for an unbiased opinion
on Google products. No it won't add junk.

One more thing....

Read The Google Privacy Policy it was just updated October 14, 2005.

Can you spell S-P-Y-W-A-R-E....

Oh yah, the Google Answer Police will most likely close this item or
pull it off or even perhaps take my account away...

One more thing for the monitors, perhaps google could afford links or
spell check for this site, i.e php?

Oh I'm sorry I see that the researcher can add links but we as the
paying customer can not.

What is Poodle afraid of?

Goto Google and download a copy of SpyBot, better yet go directly to;

You'll have to copy and paste above link in your browser, perhaps a Firefox.
