I want to know the New York City compliance requirements for operating a "spray room". All sprayed materials are non-flammable wood finish and paint products. All are water-based. Approximately 100 gallons of material will be sprayed in a year. Must the spray be ducted to a roof, or can it go out a window? Is there a permit required? What city agency monitors this? Sources- need to locate in Brooklyn, New York: a knowledgeable vendor of exhaust equipment who can do an on-site evaluation and installation. Time is of the essence. |
