The other day, while in a clothing store (I think it may have been H&M, but not sure) in Manhattan, I heard a cover of U2's "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" that was quite good. It was sung by a female vocalist, with other female voices singing harmony, and had a folksy vibe to it. There was an atrocious rap interlude in the middle of the song, but I couldn't identify the rapper. I've searched iTunes and Google and have found several cover versions of the song, but none of them seem to be the one I heard in the store. Can you please identify the version I heard in the store? |

Hello. It sounds like you're describing a cover version called "Haven't Found" by rapper Pras Michel. The song features female singers singing the U2 song along with a rap interlude by Pras Michel. Listen to the song and watch the video here: http://www.haventfound.com/PokewareVideo.htm The song is the 5th track on Pras Michel's Cd "Win, Lose or Draw." CD and sound clips at Amazon.com: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0009NZ3VY/ -------- search strategy: u2 "still haven't found" rapper I hope this is the version that you had in mind. If not, please let me know via the "request clarification" feature. Thanks. | |

I've seen Cher perfoming that song in one of her concert. There were a lot of female singers too. It was the opening song of the concert. |
