What is the maximum distance a typical gasoline distributor will serve
(i.e. what is an estimate of the maximum distance from a gasoline
distribution terminal to a gasoline station that a typical gasoline
distributor would be willing to serve before the distance of
transporting the gas becomes too great to be economical)?

I need the number(s) in miles with as many references as possible.

I found this online map of distribution territory:

http://www.blaylockoil.com/Coverage.htm

which covers a max distance (from Homestead to Key West) of about 125 miles.

Is this the sort of thing you had in mind as a 'reference'?

If so, how many would be reasonable as an answer to your question
(from an initial look, there do not appear to be many such maps
available)?

Let me know what you think.

By the way, they ARE a bulk gasoline distributor, even if it's not
obvious from the map.

You can see their product list here, on their main page:
