Is there a way to short the U.S. dollar and go long some other curreny(ies) or store of value. I am aware of futures exchanges but I think they are for the "big boys," I am a middle class individual. |

Check out http://www.interactivebrokers.com They are by far the best brokerage in the universe in terms of functionality, cost and features. Shorting the USD is done by selling USD and purchasing a foreign currency or you could purchase futures... |

www.fxcm.com is designed specifically for trading foreign currencies. You can open an account with as little as $300, and trade a number of foreign currencies. You will also be able to predetermine your leverage and your risk. |

Another FOREX site is oanda.com. There is no account minimum to trade with them. Beware though, the rabbit hole gets deeper. |
