I have been trying to find out the name and artist of a music video
from I believe spring of 2000. The video consisted of a girl that went
to a dance club and was unpopular, during the course of the video, she
finds one of those dancing video games and gets really good at it, by
the end of the video she is really popular. I think the music was some
kind of dance or techno. I remember it being played on the College
Television Network, but was likely played on MTV.

Wow, that is the video!!! Its been like 5 years since I seen it and I
still remember that old guy with the zapper gun on the video game.
Takes me back to my college days...and to think, I hear the groups
other song "missing" about once a week.
