I want to use (in a professional way) VOIP. I tried softphones(like JPhone, XTEN, SNOM, etc) with headsets (a microphone and speaker jackets, and also a headset with USB). Both gave (different) problems with echo cancellation: none were perfect (and it has te be perfect). I would like to have a detailed solution for this. Hardphones VOIP are not an option because of the price... |

Can you post details of your setup? 1. Type of network environment (speed etc) 2. Whether you are making calls to public telephones or is it a pure PC to PC call 3. Which SIP proxy service are you using? |

dear vakulgarg-ga, 1. i use a 1 Mbit ADSL (the Netherlands) connecting over Wifi to my laptop (sony vaio pcg-v505ap, 2,4 GHz Pentium M). The regular setup however will not be Wifi but fixed cable. All Callcenter employees will work from home and all have different setups (but at least 1 Mbit connection). 2. i receive ONLY calls FROM prublic telephones (80% will be cellphones) 3. i use a small company and they use Asterisk as a PBX blokje1234-ga |
