searching for a tv-serie episode

i've seen this episode a long time ago, probably in the 70s, "twilight
zone", "outer limits", something else, i do not know... i searched
without success, sigh

it must be a police investigation + science fiction story: to resolve
the case, they freezes time so they can analyse the situation... like,
i'm not sure, but there is a bullet (the one of the crime) frozen in
the air, doesn't move of course
