My company restricted hotmail access therefore I cannot get onto the
server. Is there any other address/routing I can go through that
would allow me to get my mail on my work account? I have tried other
country websites (ie. hotmail.uk) however none of those work.

My company too has restricted access to all known email sites like
hotmail, gmail etc.

I got around this issue by buying my own website address(i.e.
www.xxxxxxxx.co.uk) and then using the free email service that came
with the hosting company (34sp.com, I think I am using).

I can then access my email by logging into
http://webmail.xxxxxxxx.co.uk/ and typing in my username and password
that I was asked to set up at the outset.

Of course your contacts will need to be made aware of your new email address etc.

Hope this helps. I'm not an IT teccy, I used advice from friends and
my web hosts dicussion boards to set it all up.

Even if you are able to access Hotmail on your work account using one
of the above methods, your employer obviously does not want you to do
this, otherwise they would not have restricted the access in the first
place!!

If you go ahead with one of the above methods and are found out, you
could well be construed as committing a disciplinary offence. Is it
worth getting the sack for this??! Restrict your personal access to
Hotmail outside of office time. Use a public computer if oyu do not
have one at home.

theres a rather simple way to get around this, I assume that you have
some internet access availible at our place of buisness? if so wait
untill you get home and set your hotmail to forward to your atwork
email address, or if your work does not supply you with your own
e-mail box try other ones <gmail.com yahoo, msn, aol, etc.> then read
it from there.

As charliebabbage said, you should seriously consider the consequences
of what you are trying to do.

That said there is another way around internet blocks: use a site that
loads your desired page and then displays it for you to see.

Such a site is browser x (www.browser-x.com)

Once there, click on the big Internet Explorer icon, if you're using
internet explorer that is, and in the next page type in whatever site
you want to get to in the box, and click go!

Simple!
