Hey... I am looking for a free downloadable murder mystery game for
children (age range 11-14ish).  For large groups (preferably 30)
involved.

Murder mysteries are not so common these days. From classics I could
recommend Laura Bow 1: Colonel's bequest, Laura Bow 2: Dagger of Amon
Ra, Cruise for a Corpse, Under a Killing Moon. These are dos games so
to play you would need to use dosbox program for XP and Win2k that is
free to download at dosbox.sourceforge.net.

There are also Nancy Drew games published this year, but I have not
got chance to test them.
