I have my own ringtones that i would like to sell directly to consumers. I have someone to make the site for me. I would like a simple setup guide for what i need to do now to have the site set up for consumers to purchase ringtones by providing my website with their phone number.. I would also like to offer ringtones by having consumers send a text to a certain phone number. I need to have a brief explaination of where to turn to accomplish the tasks necessary for the site setup. Please also provide me with where to find pricing. Also please answer this question - If i happen to sell shoes and vegetables on the site along with ringtones, can an individual purchasing a pair of shoes and a head of lettuce be billed for those items on their cell phone bill? thank you thank you |

www.clickatell.com You will find all you need on this site. To provide ringtones for soncumers after sending an SMS message is also possible with 2-way messaging, offered by clickatell.com or developed by software. Rearding billing customers on their phone bill, you will have to check with the GSM carrier/provider in your country if they have corporate offers ofr such needs. |

An alternative is to use a site like Phone Sherpa. They have a service enabling you to sell ringtones and wallpaper through your own web store. They provide a ringtone maker, wallpaper maker, all the file hosting, billing, and delivery. You get a percentage payout depending on the store package...up to 45% of all revenue goes to you. Supports 25 countries and 120 carriers. There are no monthly fees either: http://www.phonesherpa.com/sell_ringtones.aspx You can take any mp3, wma, or wav files on your computer and use Phone Sherpa's ringtone maker to convert your music into custom ringtones. They also have an easy to use wallpaper editor. You can have your mobile content store up and running in about 10 minutes. |
