Awhile ago I stumbled across a website that had a very intriguing idea. It aimed to find the "best video game of all time." It approached the question in a unique way because they said the scope of the question is too immense for most people to answer objectively. So it presented a set of two video game screenshots, side by side, with accompanying titles. It then asked the site visitor to click on their favorite of the two games. It then immediately produced another set of screenshots and asked the visitor to answer the same question for as long as they could. Over time, hundreds of visitors and hundreds of decisions yielded the "best game." I've been searching for awhile now and cannot find this page anymore. I remember that (at the time) Super Mario Bros for the NES was the top game. I also remember the site telling you to make your decisions quickly, and to choose randomly if you hadn't heard of either of the games. I want to use the same idea for a different subject and would like to give proper recognition to the site that gave me the idea. Any help is greatly appreciated. |
